DAM Asset Search API

Responsibility

The DAM Asset Search API lets Accor partners and internal applications search the Accor Digital Asset Management (DAM) catalogue and retrieve assets (images, videos, documents) together with their metadata.

It gives front-end applications a simple way to find the right visuals for brand-specific or localized experiences, without accessing the DAM directly.

What it covers

• Searching assets of a given brand.
• Filtering on asset metadata: titles, captions and alternative texts in several languages, business domain, author, geolocation, rights and transferability between brands, creation date, availability of a Dynamic Media URL, and more.
• Sorting results (by creation or last modification date) and paging through them.
• Returning each matching asset with its metadata, ready to be used.

What it does not cover

• It does not upload, modify or delete assets: it is read-only.
• It does not manage usage rights: it only exposes the rights information held in the asset metadata.
